**  ELITE CAMP **

 

Elite Camp  Is for highly motivated, college bound, ELITE volleyball players.  This camp will be offered in both sessions.  Session 1 (July 25-28)  &  Session 2 (July 29-Aug 1).  Players will be accepted to this camp by the camp’s director, Bob Schneck.  See below for information on players who received an invitation and those who would like to be invited.  

Elite campers will learn what it takes to be a prospective college athlete. Campers will increase their skills, work ethic and knowledge about the game & the recruiting process.  Topics discussed will be the NCAA's recruiting guidelines, How to market yourself, & Sports Nutrition to name a few. 

ELITE CAMP FEE:  The cost for this camp is $615  for Overnight  (Full Dining & Housing) and $515 for Commuter  (Lunch & Dinner, No Housing). Fee includes all Instruction, Activities, and when applicable, 3 nights of Housing & 4 days of Dining in the University Facilities.  Campers who register by June 1, 2010 will receive a 2010 Camp T-Shirt, Water Bottle, & Neck Wallet.  Availability of supply can not be guaranteed for applications received after 6/1/10.  Please see DISCOUNTS for availability.

Campers are encouraged to apply early to allow time to review your information.  Court space will be limited to the first 12 players accepted to the Elite Camp.  Acceptance will also be determined by your playing position.

ACCEPTANCE INFORMATION:

Players who have received an invitation to attend the Elite Camp are automatically accepted into the Elite camp.  No further evaluation is necessary.  Send in your application with the appropriate fee and mark off the session you would like to attend.  Confirmation will be sent via email.

Players who have not received an invitation and wish to be evaluated for the Elite Camp may send an email with the following information found below.  Please copy and paste this information into an email and fill in the appropriate information and email back to us.  ** You must also mail a Skill's DVD or Game footage to appropriately evaluate you.   Tapes including a self-addressed & stamped return envelope will be returned.  Tapes without a return  stamped envelope will become the property of the Rhode Island Volleyball Camp.  After reviewing your information an email will be sent to notify you of your acceptance into this camp.   Please DO NOT mail your tapes to URI as they will be confused with recruiting videos.  Please mail video tapes to:
