**  POLICY for Team Camp **

 

Team Camp is recommended for teams that wish to develop their offensive and defensive systems, as well as improve their play for their competitive seasons. Team Camp is not for campers who are new to the game.  It is recommended that players be of similar abilities.  A full court reservation should be made up of all Varsity Players or  all JV Players, not a combination of both.   Large groups of Varsity & Junior Varsity members may be split into two 1/2 court teams and will be on different courts.  Teams are assigned to courts according to the outcome of their team’s ability testing. The cost for the team camp is as follows:

COURT FEE:

Full Court Team Camp (Minimum 12 Players - Maximum **16)- $4,410.00 ** Please note:  We prefer to keep courts to a maximum of 14 for maximum repetitions and playing time for all.  However, we understand that sometimes teams may have a 15th or 16th player and want to try to accommodate you.  You must however understand that evening teams for the tournament will have 8 players on each team, so this means that 2 players will be waiting to sub in.  Pricing for additional players:  If a team has more than 14 players, the additional players (up to 2 maximum) pay the regular camp fee of $515 less the $20 team discount for a total of $495 each.  

Half Court Team Camp (Minimum 6 Players - Maximum 7 players) -  $2,205.00*  We can not allow more than 7 players on a half court reservation since it would interfere with the other half of the court.

**INDIVIDUAL PLAYER FEE** 

** In addition to the court fee there is a Per Player fee of $200 for overnight campers.  This includes the player’s Dining, Housing, & Individual Camper expenses. Commuter Individual Player fee is $100.00 and this includes Lunch & Dinner & Individual Camper expenses, no housing.  

TEAM CAMP DISCOUNT:  Team members automatically qualify for the Team Camp Discount of $20 per person. The Team Camp Discount MAY NOT be combined with any of the other discounts.  To Qualify:  ALL Information MUST be mailed in by the Team Representative in 1 envelope.  Envelope needs to include:  Player Application Forms, Individual Player Fee Payments less $20, Player Medical Form, Team Roster, Rooming List & Coach’s Instructions.  Discount is to be taken immediately off each players' Individual Player fee or it will be forfeited.  Discount expires on May 31st. Applications received postmarked in June or later will not be eligible for the $20 discount.  No refunds will be given for discounts not taken immediately off the registration fee.

Court Fee & Player Fee include all Instruction, Activities, and when applicable, 3 nights of Housing & 4 days of Dining in the University Facilities.  Team Campers who have their Individual Player Fee & Application in by June 1, 2010 will receive a 2010 Camp T-shirt, Water Bottle, & Neck Wallet.  Availability of supply can not be guaranteed for applications received after 6/1/10.

To reserve a court in team camp: a Team Representative (Coach, Captain, or Team Parent) must be assigned to handle ALL of the details for the group. The Team Representative must fill out the application and include the Court Fee, in 1 Check, to reserve the team’s court. Once accepted, additional information will be Emailed to the Team Representative for camper info, roommate requests, player positions & team inquiry form for coach’s input.  We encourage you to mail your  Individual Player Fees, Player Applications, Rooming Requests, Medical Forms & Roster forms prior to June 1st, 2010 to take advantage of the $20 Team Discount and to ensure there is space available.   Rosters for Team Camp will be final upon receipt of this information.  Any changes once the team roster has been set, will incur a cancellation fee as stated in the cancellation policy below.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Team Camp cancellations, at any time, will forfeit the team’s entire Court Fee.  However, if the camp fills in your particular session you will be refunded for everything except $1,470 for Full Court & $735 for Half court.  In the event of the camp being cancelled due to acts of terror or nature, refunds will be distributed less any current out of pocket expenses incurred by the camp.  ALL refunds will be mailed out after we have received the final invoices from URI for Dining, Housing & Facilty Fees.  This is typically 30 days after the last camp has ended.

We encourage you to get your Final Rosters & Individual Player Fees for Team Camp in by June 1st, 2010 to take advantage of the discounts and free offers.  This will allow teams to exchange players if necessary without penalty.  Once the final rosters have been submitted, individual players have been registered, medical forms & individual player fees have been collected, and room assignments have been made, should a player cancel, there will be a $100 cancellation fee up to March 31st and $200 after March 31st, for the individual player, whether the team replaces them with another player or not.   Also there will be additional charges for any costs incurred at the time of their cancellation (food, housing) unless they are replaced by the team.
