2005 18 Elite National Team HIGHLIGHTS

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE RHODE ISLAND JUNIOR RAMS 18 ELITE NATIONAL TEAM Members ON A VERY SUCCESSFUL SEASON.  The 18-1 team had a terrific season as well.  They had their work cut out for them at the beginning of this season, but all turned out okay.  Since they did not qualify last season for the Power League, the team had to work their way up to the Power League.  The team qualified for the Regional Level and after their first tournament, they advanced and competed the rest of the season in the Power League with two 3rd place & two 5th place finishes.  The team finished in 5th place at the Regional Championships.  The team competed very well all season and saw some tough competition this season.  The team also competed at the Early Bird Extravaganza in Ohio, & the North East National Qualifier in Baltimore.  The team's record does not reflect the strength of this team.  Their over-all record is 17 wins, 26 losses and 7 ties for a winning percentage of 39.5%.   SCROLL DOWN FOR TOURNAMENT RECAPS.
