Northeast Qualifier 18-1 & 18-2 Teams
TRANSPORTATION: Flight Departure: Please meet us near the USAirways check-in area by 1:45pm. Please be sure to have a valid picture ID with you. We have your tickets, so please DO NOT check in ahead of the group. We will all meet and then check in together so that we are seated near each other. Return:
**Parent Flights: I have booked 28 flights for our group. For the team we need 22 of the 28. We have 6 extra tickets for parents who are interested. The tickets are around $275 with all taxes included. You need to send me a $40 deposit with the name of the person who will be flying on the check payable to RIVB no later than: January 5th. After this date the extra tickets will be cancelled.
PACKING INFORMATION: Please
be sure to have all of your uniform items including the blue warm-ups & blue
practice-T-shirt. We want to look like a team in everything we do as this is done
by the majority of the teams participating. Please
refer to the list of what to bring that is in your blue Tournament Information
Packet given out early on in the season. Please
check closely as we want players to have all of their items this trip. You
should pack your entire team uniform in your back pack/team bag and have this as
one of your carry-on items. If you
check your team uniform you run the risk of the airline losing your bag and you
not being able to play until you get your bag from the airport.
We suggest that you pack in your carry-on bags any medications you will

& chaperone rooms for the North East Qualifier, April 5-8, in Pittsburgh,
PA. I am unable to reserve parent rooms. If you want to stay with
the team, I suggest you do this immediately as the hotels will fill by the end
of today.

Philadelphia Volleyball Academy Invitational Tournament 18-1 Team Only TRANSPORTATION: Team Van Departure: URI Ice Rink Parking Lot: January 12th @ 2:00pm Return: URI Ice Rink Parking Lot: January 14th @ TBA
We are traveling as a team in the
team van. We will park the van outside the URI ice rink. For those
who are new, the ice rink is on the left immediately after the tennis courts.
The van is a large 15 passenger van. We will leave promptly at 2pm on
Friday January 12th. Please arrive 10 minutes early so that we can load
up the van. There are restrooms in the ice rink and we suggest you use
them prior to our departure. The trip should take 5 hours without
stopping. We will stop for dinner along the way. You have already
paid for your meals for the entire weekend through your tuition, so there is
no need to bring money for food. We have also included enough money to
provide snacks, waters & gatorades for the team throughout the weekend as
well. Once we arrive at the hotel, we will have a snack in the hotel,
possibly pizza as a team.
We are limited with space on the van and are requiring that players only bring their team duffle bag and team back pack. You can bring a pillow and blanket. You can pack your schoolwork in your backpack until we arrive at the hotel, and the rest of your clothing and uniform items in your duffle bag. Please be sure to check your white packet for uniform items to pack. You will not need too many clothing items as we will be spending most of our time in the gym. ATTN: Parents who are attending, you will need to park in the main lot across the street (Lancaster Ave) from Jake Nevin. You will get a parking ticket if you park in the gym lot. Players may set up a "team" area in the Upper Level of Jake Nevin and the sides of the Pavilion.
